NON-MENTORING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Becoming a Big isn’t the only way you can get involved. Show support for children in your community by volunteering in other ways. With so many opportunities, you are sure to find one that matches your interests and busy schedule.
SERVE AS A SPEAKER FOR OUR PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS PROGRAM
Pathways to Success is a program that helps to prepare our High School Littles for life after graduation. Each month, we host a speaker - either in person or via Zoom - to speak to our Littles about their profession, trade or speciality for just one hour.
GET YOUR COMPANY INVOLVED
Does your company sponsor events or host career development activities? Maybe you want your coworkers to learn more about becoming a Big? There are a ton of ways for companies to engage with our agency, just give us a call!
SERVE ON OUR ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Our various events wouldn't be possible without volunteers taking their time to help throughout the planning and execution process.
TAKE PART IN OUR BIG NEIGHBORS PROGRAM
We know families go through tough times and there are essential needs they will go without if they do not receive assistance. As we touch base with our families through match support, they share with us their struggles. In turn, we connect them to services either through the Big Neighbors program or other social services offered in the community. Learn how you can help here.
DONATE ITEMS
Donating items is a great way to give back to our Littles. Whether it's school supplies, tickets to a game or warm winter clothing, the BBBS team will make sure it finds a home!
VOLUNTEER AT OUR OFFICE
We're always looking for extra hands at our office to sort through donations and help with various tasks to ensure our Bigs and Littles are set up for success!
VOLUNTEER AT AN EVENT
At BBBS, we love to host an event! Whether it's the 251 Club or King Cake Off, we will find a way to put your time to good use in support of our mission!
